April 2010 iPad made it’s debut. That marked the beginning of the end of a centuries old tradition, reading the newspaper. Some believe that the reading of daily events goes as far back as the Roman Empire, 59B.C. During the past few years, tablets have dramatically changed the way we literally view the world.
I personally experienced the transformation while sitting at a coffee shop in the fall of 2011. I noticed that although many had picked up November’s issue of ME Music Entertainment, more were reading something else on a Kindle, iPad or other mobile reading device. It was then I decided to publish ME online. The conversion from analog to digital was not to be done quickly. We spent a good deal of time researching the best possible business plan. One year later we proudly launch MEMusicNews.com with this first issue.
